1. The Family & Life Ministry would like to invite all parents to a two-half day parenting seminar at the Lingkod Center of the parish on September 11 & 18, 2010, 1:00-4:00 PM.  Topics included are:

Spirituality of the Family

Meal Planning & Budgeting

Relationship With Your Children

2. We wish to inform you that we were able to collect P8,919 for the St. John Mary Vianney Sunday that will be used for the on-going formation of our Diocesan priests.  Maraming, maraming salamat po!

PROGRESS REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF JULY,  2010

Today, being our Parish Stewardship Sunday, the following is the update on the Balik-Alay Program:

A. Summary of pledges and commitment by type of pledges  as of month end.

B. Number of response  offerors  by area as of month end

C. Total amount of Balik-alay offerings for Stewardship of Treasure as of July 31, 2010

The parish is always open to more response offerors to its Balik-Alay Stewardship program. We hope that everyone will participate. Please see the parish office for inquiries.

Balik-Alay Stewardship Prayer

Lord, every time I open my hands,

I look heavenward to receive Your blessings.

I believe everything is a gift from Your overflowing love.

Undeserving as I may be, You have built my identity.

You have fashioned me as Your child

And given me dignity of sharing in Your life.

Help me to open my hands to let go and trust

For You run my affairs more than I do.

You admonish me to cast away my doubts and anxieties

And to live in harmony and peace.

Like a good steward, help me to be thankful in gratitude

To count more my blessings and less of my adversities.

Let me open my hands so that I can love and share my gifts.

Help me to understand that in a Christian love

I have the need to give more than giving to a need.

As I realize that I live on borrowed time and life

I wish to return the best portions of these blessings received

For the good of my Church to glorify Your name.

May I be blessed as a good servant, now that I offer

Announcements July 31-Aug. 01, 2010

We wish to inform you that the parish was able to collect P95,389.00 for the Fil-Mission Sunday. Thank you so much for your support to the endeavors of the Mission Society of the Philippines. May the Good Lord shower on you His abundant blessings.

In line with the teachings of Musica Sacra (the Instruction on Music in the Liturgy) and Sacrosanctum Concilium (the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy) that Music forms a necessary and integral part of the solemn liturgy (MS 112), the Music Ministry of our Parish would like to invite organists, pianists and guitarists to become members of the Ministry.  This is an opportunity for us to use our talents for the glorification of God and sanctification of the faithful (MS 112, SC 7 & 10).  Let us make a difference in our parish with our talents.  For inquiries, please look for Bro. Announcement July 25, 2010

Today, the Catholic Church in the Philippines is celebrating, once again, the annual Fil-Mission Sunday.

In line with this, the Missionary Society of the Philippines’ lay partners  are here to  distribute missionary promotion materials, as well as MSP donation envelopes and collect them afterwards, to stimulate missionary responsibility among the Catholic faithful and encourage them to support, spiritually and materially, the Mission Society of the Philippines, being the official and foremost missionary arm of the Catholic Church in the Philippines.

Our support to this endeavor will be of great help in sustaining the MSP’s work and mission both in the country and abroad.

The Health Program Ministry of the Parish will conduct a free clinic day on  Saturday, July 17, 2010.  Registration starts at 7:30 am and consultations  follow immediately until 12:00 Noon.

This service is made possible through the kindness of our benefactors,  and the doctors who have offered their services at no cost..

Let continue to support this program to be able to reach out to more of  our less fortunate.

Ang “Health Program Ministry” ng ating parokya ay magkakaroon ng  libreng gamutan sa Sabado, Hulyo 17, 2010.  Magsisimula sa ganap na  ika-7:30 ng umaga ang pagpapalista sa araw na iyon at susundan ng  konsultasyon.

Ang serbisyong ito ay matagumpay na naisasagawa sa kagandahang- loob ng mga donor at mga duktor na nagbibigay at naglalaan ng kanilang  serbisyo na walang hinihinging kapalit.

Patuloy po nating suportahan ang programang ito upang mas marami pa  tayong matulungan na mga kababayan nating kapuspalad.
