- We wish to invite everyone to join us for the Stations of the Cross here at the parish church right after the 6:00 pm mass every Friday of Lent.
- The Family & Life Ministry of the Parish would like to invite all fathers to a talk on Fatherhood on Sunday, March 27, 9 to 11 am, at the Lingkod Center of the parish.
Fathers, please find time to join in this three-hour talk. Share your beautiful experience as a father and also learn some more tips to being a compassionate father.
1. The Archdiocese of Manila, spearheaded by His Eminence Gaudencio B. Cardinal Rosales, D. D., Archbishop of Manila, will hold a Prayer Rally for Life on Friday, March 25, 2011 (The Feast of the Annunciation, also the Day of the Unborn Children) at the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
To all who value life, family and life values, please join the said prayer
rally in solidarity with the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the
Philippines (CBCP) in opposing the RH Bill which does not promote
reproduction nor maternal health and destroys the family.
- As the world watches in grief the catastrophe that befell Japan, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cubao is seeking donations for the victims of the magnitude 8.9 earthquake and tsunami that happened in Sendai, Japan.
Please bring or send your donations to the SMDS Parish. Your donations will be remitted to the Treasury Office of the Diocese of Cubao.

Please mark your calendar because the last two talks had been rescheduled. We are encouraging you to please finish the whole course on Marital and Parenting Talks. For those who had been regularly attending the talks, thank you for your support and please invite your neighbors to attend these three remaining talks.

2. Inaanyayahan po namin ang lahat na makilahok sa “Stations of the Cross” dito po sa ating simbahan tuwing Biyernes sa panahon ng Kwaresma, pagkatapos ng ika-anim na misa sa gabi.

- March 09 is Ash Wednesday, the first day of the Lenten season. Masses on this day will be at 6:00 am, 12:00 noon, 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
2. In line with the teachings of Musica Sacra and SacrosanctumConcilium that Music forms a necessary and integral part of the solemn liturgy (MS 112), our parish is inviting organists, pianists and guitarists to become members of the Music Ministry. For those who do not know how to play the keyboard but are willing to learn and willing to serve in our parish as instrumentalists, there will be a series of training and seminar on Sacred Music starting this March. The said training is for free. This is an opportunity for us to use our talents for the glorification of God and sanctification of the faithful (MS 112, SC 7 & 10). For inquiries, please look for Fr. Andrew Oribiana or see the parish office.
