Feast of Corpus Christi

The Feast of Corpus Christi celebrates the possibility of salvation through the sacrifice of Christ at the Crucifixion made available to all through communion in the Christian Mass. On June 6, Sunday, at 6:30 pm, we invite everyone to participate in the Corpus Christi Procession.

On June 2, 2010, we will begin the nine-day Novena in preparation for the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  The Novena will be after the 6:00PM mass during weekdays and after the 5:30PM mass on Sunday.  We again invite all our parishioners to join us in this Novena.

There will be a Rummage Sale on June 05, Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the Lingkod Center of the Parish.

The proceeds of the sale will be for the benefit of the Landas ng Karunungan Scholarship Program of the parish.  This is a project of the Solo Parents Group of the parish. To date, about 5,000 students from high school, vocational and college have been helped with free tuition, free school uniforms and school supplies. If you would like to donate clothes, shoes, bags, household items, kitchen appliances and any other items, please send these to the parish office.

In celebration of our parish fiesta, please join us for the procession this afternoon at 6:30 and the Fiesta Mass in honor of our Patroness, Sta. Maria della Strada, at 6:00 PM tomorrow.

*There will be a Rummage Sale on June 05, Saturday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lingkod Center of the parish.

The proceeds of the sale will be for the Landas ng Karunungan Scholarship program of the parish.  This is a project of the Solo Parents Group of the parish.

To date, about 5,000 students from high school, vocational and college have been helped with free tuition, free school uniforms and school supplies.

If you would like to donate clothes, shoes, bags, household items, kitchen appliances and office equipments, kindly send them to the parish office.

*Ipagdiriwang po natin ang kapistahan ng parokya bukas.  Inaanyayahan po ang lahat na sumama sa prusisyon po mamayang hapon, sa ganap na alas-sais y medya at inaanyayahan din ang lahat na dumalo ng Fiesta Mass bukas, sa ganap na alas-sais ng gabi.

Humihingi po sila ng mga lumang damit, sapatos, bag, o kung ano pa man na maibebenta sa rummage sale.  Ang makakalap pong pondo mula dito ay ilalaan para sa Landas ng Karunungan Scholarship Program ng ating parokya.  Anumang donasyon ang maibibigay ninyo ay malugod naming tatanggapin. Today, being our Parish’s Stewardship Sunday, the following is the update on the Balik-Alay Program:

The parish is always open to more response offerors to its Balik-Alay Stewardship program. We hope that everyone will participate. Please see the parish office for inquiries.

Announcements May 09, 2010

*Everyone is invited to visit the PPCRV Voter’s Assistance Desk outside the church, at the tent near the bell tower.  PPCRV volunteers at the  desk can help you find your names in the voters’ list and give you your precinct number and its location.  Those who are interested in helping and supporting the PPCRV’s efforts may drop their donations in drop boxes located at the entrances of the main church. Thank you very much.

*Our parish will hold a confirmation on May 23 for those who are 12 years old and above. For those who were unable to attend the seminar this morning, another seminar will be held on May 16, 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, Lingkod Center of the parish.

*Inaanyayahan po namin ang lahat na bumisita sa PPCRV Voter’s Assistance Desk sa labas po ng ating simbahan, sa tent malapit sa bell tower.  Ang mga PPCRV volunteers po natin ay maaari kayong matulungan sa paghahanap ng inyong pangalan sa listahan ng mga botante upang maibigay sa inyo and mumero ng inyong presinto at kung saan ito matatagpuan.  Sa mga interesado pong tumulong at sumuporta sa mga gawain ng PPCRV, maaari po ninyong ihulog ang inyong donasyon sa mga drop box na matatagpuan sa mga pasukan ng ating simbahan.  Maraming salamat po!

*Ang ating parokya ay magsasagawa ng KUMPILANG BAYAN sa darating na May 23.  Ito po ay para sa mga may edad  labing-dalawang taon pataas. Kaugnay po nito, magkakaroon po tayo ng seminar sa Lingkod Center ng ating parokya mamayang alas-otso ng umaga hanggang alas-dose ng tanghali. Sa mga hindi makaka-attend nito, meron pa ho tayong  isa pang seminar sa Mayo 16, alas-otso ng umaga hanggang alas-dose ng tanghali. Sa mga interesado, makipag-ugnayan lamang po sa ating parish office.

Sa ngayon, meron na pong humigit-kumulang na 5,000 estudyante mula sa high school, vocational at college ang natulungan na ng programang ito sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng libreng tuition fees, school uniforms at school supplies.

Ang sinuman pong gustong mag-donate ng mga damit, sapatos, bag, mga gamit sa bahay at opisina ay ipadala na lamang po ang mga ito sa opisina ng ating parokya.
